Seed Mix

In addition to lab blocks, hamsters should be fed a high-quality seed mix. This should be fed several times a week by scattering it throughout the cage. Scatter feeding stimulates your hamster’s natural foraging instinct and serves as entertainment. The best seed mix readily available in the USA is Higgins Sunburst (for hamsters and gerbils).
