Saucer / Treadmill Style Wheels

Hamsters LOVE saucer or treadmill style wheels. To keep a Syrian hamster’s back from kinking sideways, their saucer style wheel should be a minimum of 10-12” in diameter (which looks surprisingly bulky). While your hamster will greatly appreciate having one, they do not replace the need for a regular wheel due to the slightly arched position required to keep it moving. A wheel is a necessity, a saucer is an accessory… it just happens to be the accessory your hamster will love most.
